High School Extension Program
The High School Extension Program is a specialised individual education plan for school-aged students in Years 11 and 12 who are driven and working for a career in the Performing Arts.
Main Objectives of the
Talent Development Program
- To value and support education and the individual learner’s needs
- To extensively support and nurture young students
- To continually deliver state of the art performing arts training
- To offer performance opportunities throughout student’s time at MATRIX PRO
Following acceptance into the High School Extension Program students are then required to apply to enrol in the School of Isolated & Distance Education (SIDE) located in Leederville.
Attendance
- The Talent Development Program runs over 2 years (38 contact weeks per year).
- Students attend Matrix Pro on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday ‘s students attend SIDE.
Fees
- Course cost $10,600.00 (per year).
- Matrix Pro Merchandise $120.00 (per year).
- End of Year Showcase Costumes (Refer to individual certificate).
Course Requirements
- Minimum Age (Refer to individual certificate).
- Live audition – (Refer to individual certificate).
- In-house study with self-study.
The training within the High School Extension Program is deemed to be non-accredited, and therefore participants will not be issued with a nationally recognised VET qualification.
The staff at MATRIX PRO are all highly experienced, industry-relevant individuals dedicated to mentoring and challenging each student to reach one's full potential.
